Student-Leaders Elected to Assumption's 2015-16 Student Government Association
A new group of student-leaders have taken their place in the College's Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2015-16 academic year. SGA is a student-run organization that represents the undergraduate student body and works closely with College administration to share students' concerns and to support student clubs and organizations.

Arnold P. Gold Foundation White Coat Ceremony Inductee
The White Coat Ceremony was designed in 1993 by The Arnold P. Gold Foundation as a way to welcome new students into the medical profession and to set clear expectations regarding their primary role as physicians. The annual tradition, which includes the cloaking and recitation of the medical oath by participants, emphasizes the importance of compassionate care as well as scientific proficiency in medicine and nursing.

Students Earn Degrees from the University of Vermont
Some 2,904 students were awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 213th Commencement ceremonies on May 18. There were some 575 advanced degrees and certificates awarded by the UVM Graduate College and approximately 106 women and men took the oath of Hippocrates following the awarding of their M.D. degrees at ceremonies of the UVM College of Medicine.
